VSR conference 2026: Call for papers

On behalf of the conference committee, we are very happy to share the Call for Papers for the annual VSR conference 2026 that will take place on Thursday 29 January and Friday 30 January 2026 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

This year’s theme is “Crossing Borders: Navigating Law and Society in a World of Turbulence.”

The keynote will be provided by Prof.mr.dr. Maartje van der Woude, Professor of Sociology of Law at the Van Vollenhoven Institute for Law, Governance and Society, Leiden University.

The deadline for both individual papers and panel submissions is 24 November 2025.
