
The SLSA invites PhD candidates to the PGR–SLSA online writing group. The PGR reps Diksha Sanyal and Camilo Cornejo Martinez run tri-annual writing sessions (one each term) to encourage early career socio-legal scholars to write together, advance their thesis and publications, and strengthen the community across institutions.
The first online writing group session will run for 3 hours. Here are the details:

Programme (tentative):
9:00 am- 9:20 am – Introduction
9:25 am- 10:15 am – First writing block (50 min dedicated writing block)
10:15 am – 10:25 am – First break, take a walk, get snacks
10:25 am – 11:15 am – Second writing block (50 mins)
11:15 am – 11:25 am – Second break, do some yoga, get more snacks
11:25 am – 11:55 pm- Optional Peer Feedback Session: For those who want/need to give and receive feedback on their drafts through break-out rooms. If you’d rather just polish up on your own work, feel free to do so. No pressure!
11:55-12:05 pm – Group reflections: What went well, what could be better. Discuss next writing session
