VSR Yearly Conference 2024

Hereby the call (VSR 2024_final) for abstracts for the VSR Annual Conference on 18 and 19 January 2024, hosted by the Montaigne Centre for Rule of Law and the Administration of Justice and the School of Law of Utrecht University. The deadline to submit abstracts or panels is 1 December 2023.

Abstracts and panels can be submitted by sending an email to: montaignecentrum@uu.nl. 

The theme of the conference is “Building Bridges,” which refers to finding solutions to bridge current societal challenges. Building bridges also refers to bridges between different types of methodology and disciplines, as well as building a bridge between academia and members of society, to tackle current challenges. 

On the 18^th of January, Prof. Kees van den Bos will provide the keynote to this year’s conference on how research on perceived procedural justice may provide a bridge for current problems in society, such as unwarranted distrust, heightened polarization and unfounded conspiracy thoughts.
